Extending my pants Empty Extending my pants

They were always a little short, so I found some elk hide and added some length to them. I have them covering the tops of my mocs right now in hope of shedding debris, but of They bother me when wet or anything, they'll get cut down. It'll be nice if they help keep my mocs from being untied.

Looking good, just have to run through the mud & crud to get them to match the rest of the pants!

I think I would have gone for leggings myself, probably from using gaiters when cross country skiing & snow shoeing.

Jonathan,

I have seen several old buckskin pants with trade blanket added on the bottom of legs. The blanket dried faster than the buckskin was one thought on the addition.
