My One and Only

I've owned a couple of c&b revolvers in the past and liked them a lot.  I just needed/wanted something smaller than the big .44s.  They were each with me for many years and got their share of BP burning.  But when I got my (only) .50 rifle I settled on a matching flint pistol.  Just as large as the .44s but a good bit lighter.  I once got first place in a postal shoot with this fine pistol.  I do have a great holster for it that's perfect for one with a flint lock.

No, they weren't. I'm not a builder and just don't have the skills to go that direction. I did used to tinker with and modify unmentionables but that didn't take a lot of skill, plus it was a totally different skill set to begin with.

I too do not have the skills. I buy them.

I can't build them but I'm very highly skilled at buying them as well.

Hanshi, buying them, that does not make you a bad person, LOL!

I can make a usable "zip-gun", but that's as far as my building skills go.

back in the late 50's us kids would make hem out of a car antenna, back when they had the hollow type, that just fit a 22 inside of it, and a door bolt with a very strong rubber band. do you remember those days? they were called ZIP GUNS. now if you made one you would get life in the ELECTRIC CHAIR!! toot.

They used to be one of the most confiscated items taken from gangbangers.

I did not know that. GANG BANGERS did not exist back when I an talking about. the 50's. toot.

They were called "delinquents" back then. I remember a lot about the 50s but not so much about the 40s. Oh, and just so you know; I wasn't one of them. Ha, ha, ha....

Beautiful! I'd be proud to own those two guns!

The rifle, especially, was a surprise. I only asked for the grade (wood) second level above plain. I think it beat that by another level.

I would agree with you.
