I just invited "uffda" and "camp" - they signed in, now need to get hold of "Crazy" Bent to come aboad .....
Sent the word out to the old members of the North American Frontiersmen too. Haven't been involved with them for several years.

Didn't you live on the one ranch where he was living when he passed away. You would haven't been born yet or just a baby then. I'm thinking of the one near the narrows as you go up Big Thompson Canyon outside of Loveland.
That was a great area to hunt until the flood wiped everything out, now just large rocks with lack of cover for wildlife, sad.

I quess we should invite our friends to take a look at this place. Like Buck says "better pastures and cleaner water" - can't beat that.

How about a "Postal Match" make it last from Thanksgiving to Christmas, that should be a long enough period for the slowest shooter to shoot his targets.
This type of event usually gets guys to talk, brag, etc.
Yes more than one. What do you members (all of you) think of this idea. The more the better (not worth the effort for just a few).

I got word last night that "Bent" is not doing very well, had his third heart attack over the weekend. Wish him a fast recovery like he has done in the past.
I know how he feels having done the same thing in 2019. Best part was the college nurses, young and plump ... I know "dirty old man", that's fine - you can look just don't touch.
This thing of getting older sucks ....

Have bad news we have lost a member to this disease "19" as of this past Friday. To bad, "Bent's" was an easy going guy that loved giving "Uffda" trouble all the time about his heavy Sharps rifles. They would start some baloney in my store until I finally asked them to go outside.

Ben George (Jun 1939 - Jan 2022) will be buried in Wallace KS this coming weekend. Same place where we all met back the '80s at our buffalo hunting location on Wilber William's ranch.
This picture was done at Bent's Old Fort back in the
