Pre-Cut VS Cut at the muzzle TEST 2
Coming soon
.020" Eastern Maine patches lubed with Bear Paws patch lube, ready for use! Notice how soft and fluffy the patches look? Just the perfect amount of lube! If your patches look hard and waxy and you have to peel them apart, they are way over lubed.
I will start with the Pre-Cut Patches. I will first fire a fouling shot, swab the bore with plain water, dry patch, then begin the test. The bore will be swabbed in between shots to keep everything as equal as possible.
Rifle: Traditions St.Louis Hawken .54cal
.530" Round Ball
.020" Eastern Maine Patches lubed with Frontier's Bear Paws Patch Lube
90gr Gearhart-Owen 2fg
Distance will be from 50 yards
