SUPPLY CHAIN IS SLOWLY CHANGING
SUBJECT: SUPPLY CHAIN IS SLOWLY CHANGING WHAT IS CARRIED ...
I'm always checking what is or is no longer carried by the major suppliers. Things are changing with what was available a few years ago and what's in the major supplier's line today. A good example is the availability of camp goods (look at what's available for good quality blankets like Hudson's Bay or Witney blankets). Townsends and Panther Primitives (friend Darren) used to be big with these.
Now the good blankets (questionable) can be found on the Internet: eBay, and others (a gamble at best ...).
Here's a start for you to look at:

Some are Crazy Crow quality others aren't even that - really have to look them over. If you buy something and it's not the quality, you're looking send it back or it at the next event - rendezvous - encampment - Joe's garage sale. When purchasing, ask about material, construction (single, double, triple stitch) get the most possible for strength.
Thank you.

I've noticed this also for several years. Things that once was carried, have been discontinued. Goes to everything from blankets to powders. Got to shop hard to find much of anything. Your right on Buck, and thanks for the other resources mentioned.

I'm sure at least a few links on that chain are permanently rusty with some of them also broken.
