Testing Young Country Lube 103
Lubed Six, 020" patches to try out with the Lube 103. The very top layer was a little crusty, but once through it, the lube was soft and oily. The baby powder smell was also much stronger in the oily section of the lube. We'll see how it shoots, how the patches look and how well it reload on a dirty bore.
Also, the directions are the usual, rub the lube in on both sides of the patch. I personally prefer to heat up some lube to its melting point and dip the patches and then soak up the excess with a rag, so they are evenly lubed.
But to make sure, I over lubed them as they say, then put them out in the sun to bake ( my idea ) to get the excess lube to penetrate the patch material.
