2024 Santa Fe Trail Rendezvous

We all had a great time! Id say over 30 camps. Not many big traders, but a lot of blanket traders with quality stuff. Our main big trader had everything you could think of.

Most of the pictures are of me and my nephew along with our camp. I won the booshway shoot ( long range ) for the second year in a row and ended up with a nice powder keg.


Accepting the Booshway Shoot prize. This is the second year in the row I won this event with my Traditions St.Louis Hawken.
This event is a pay to play. $5 for 4 shots. All shots are off hand, starting at a range of roughly 125 yards and can go out
past 200 yards. This year, it made it to around 180-190 yards before everyone else threw the towel in. Previous year: 212 yards.

Rendezvous partner and I took 1st and 3rd place in the fun, Ma & Pa Egg cooking contest. Hard boil an egg the best you can, your
partner smashes it over your head and the judge inspects it to see if its fully cooked. I've seen many runny eggs over the years! We were able to finish our first egg pretty quickly and a fellow suggested we grab another egg and try to place multiple times. 1st and 3rd are not to shabby! A very fun event!
