Casted some round balls

Pretty balls. But Pretty balls are ment to be sent down range with a smoke trail behind, all the way to the X ring. Just a little food for thought.

It has been years since I've cast ball; but it's not nearly as bad as it sounds. I actually have thousands of ball in various calibers that I cast just a few years ago. Unfortunately my hoard is still in Virginia with a friend because I couldn't get them up here at the time we moved. I did bring a modest supply with me and a friend has given me a couple jars of .440" & .445". I'm still pretty good on the .350" but virtually out of .311", .600", .490" and .530". I shoot the .36 and .32 the most (for economy) and the .45 rifle - I have 4 rifles in that caliber - more than any other deer size rifles.

I seldom get to shoot now so my supplies should last quite a good, long time. I stopped hunting seven years ago for good. But shooting is still just as much fun as it ever was and we have a nice rod & gun club. I guess I need to get off my butt and cast some more ball for the little guns and I don't have to cast all that many. Considering everything I'm fairly well off with shooting supplies. Back when I shot a lot of BP I could run through what I have now in no time.
